Summer Deco Mesh Butterfly Wreath

Summer Deco Mesh Butterfly Wreath

Brighten up your front door this summer with this large and beautiful deco mesh wreath.

The base of the wreath is a 12" wire wreath form.

I used orange deco mesh, yellow deco mesh and lime green deco mesh. I also added yellow sheer polka dot ribbon and a summer plaid ribbon.

I added an beautiful metal butterfly to the center of the wreath.

The completed wreath measures about 25" wide and 9" deep.

  1. How do you attach the butterfly to the wreath? Your tutorials are awesome and you are a most excellent instructor. Thank you.

    1. Thank you so much. The butterflies I found were for a garden or something and had little rings attached to the back. I just used the chenille stems and secured it to the butterfly and then around one of the rings of the form. In the past if the item didn't have the attachment already I would use superglue or heavy duty glue and attach the stem to it that way.

Let me know if you have any other questions or if that doesn't make sense.
