Archbishop Chapelle Chipmunks Yarn Wreath

Archbishop Chapelle Yarn Wreath

I made this wreath as a custom order for a customer recently and decided to add it to my slowly growing collection of High School Wreaths. This is my favorite to date and was the most difficult to make.

I used a 14" styrofoam wreath that I wrapped with green, white and gray yarn.

To make the Chapelle Chipmunk I started with a photo and used my Silhouette to create a stencil of the image. It took some time because of the detail but was well worth the work. I then cut out the various layers in fabric that was backed with heat n bond. I ironed the layers on one by one to a piece of white felt.

Overall I am quite please with the way it turned out. So I am pretty sure at this point I would be able to make almost any school mascot with a little time.
